Modified bitumen roofs (elastomer) are the ideal solution for waterproofing and superior weather resistance. The base layer is composed of a blend of bitumen and styrene-butadiene- styrene (SBS) polymer, for added strength. Properly designed and installed, modified bitumen roofing has a service life of up to 30 years. In addition, the UV-resistant granular finish protects the bitumen, prolonging its lifespan. These lightweight coatings are suitable for all types of roofs: flat, low-slope or inverted. They can be installed and fixed either mechanically or by glueing.
