Marc joined the company in 1995. His leadership qualities, business acumen, extensive field experience, can-do attitude, and understanding of commercial, industrial, and institutional roofing systems are acknowledged and appreciated throughout the company. His expertise is also recognized outside the company – he sits on a number of roofing industry committees and his ideas have contributed to changing the way things are done in the industry, notably with regard to professional development and improved practices. As a mentor to roofing’s next generation, Marc has contributed to the renewal and continuation of a number of companies. He has worked tirelessly to raise the profile of the industry and continuously optimize its processes. Marc is the youngest-ever recipient of the Quebec Master Roofers Association’s Jean-Luc Poulin Award, a distinction granted by industry peers to recognize a member’s outstanding contributions to the development and reputation of the QMRA and that member’s impact on the Quebec roofing industry. Marc represents the third generation of the Brault family at the helm of the family business.

Working with the company since 2014, Serge, a certified professional accountant, directs the financial aspect of the group and supports Marc in guiding and executing corporate strategic direction. His brilliant cash flow management and extensive transactional experience with national and international corporations have enabled Brault Roofing to earn a rare recognition in the large roofing industry, being recognized as among the best-managed sustainable companies. This is a recognition mainly restricted to construction industry giants and the biggest contractors. His sound management has not only helped ground the company’s sustainability, it has also been a key factor contributing to the company’s competitive advantage as well as having earned the trust of its customers and suppliers.

Sean is yet another veteran roofer with over 25 years of roofing experience. He started his roofing career as a Building Envelope Technician during the leaky condominium crisis in Vancouver, BC. Sean has had the luxury of exploiting numerous relocation opportunities throughout his stellar roofing career, which provides him with a more global view and understanding of not only roofing but the construction industry as a whole. Although Sean has worked in numerous provinces ranging as far east as Nova Scotia, his career has been focussed on Western Canada for nearly 25 years. Sean is well known in the roofing industry and has opened up and grown operations for major North American roofing companies in the past. Sean also served as the President of the Regina Construction Association in 2019, keeping him well in tune with challenges faced by the industry. In 2020, Sean joined forces with Brault Roofing to combine the group’s extensive experience in the Eastern and Central Canada roofing markets with his deep expertise in the Western Canada roofing market. This combination of strength and knowledge has created an undeniable force to be reckoned with throughout the roofing industry across Canada.

Jacques has been working in the construction industry alongside his father, who took him under his wings, since the young age of 14. This was how he spent the summer breaks and holiday seasons of his adolescence. His extensive experience in the construction industry, from dry wall and interior building work, to eventually roofing, stems from a family upbringing that instilled a can-do attitude, along with a strong work ethic and perseverance, which are rare qualities these days. Jacques’ constant drive for excellence and quality workmanship comes from his determination to offer exceptional service that his customers deserve and expect.

After almost a decade of working for a large roofing contractor, Jacques’ entrepreneurial itch had to be realized and the roofing industry is where his entrepreneurial story began.
